GOOD TIMES AT PMS

With attendance at 21, a good time was had by all at the seventh annual PMS (Parked Motorcycle Syndrome) meeting for the Wednesday Night Riders.  The only order of business was reinstating absent members.  Howard got back in on a 11-10 vote!  The votes are still being recounted for Bob Z, David H, Gordy,  and Jim S. but chances are they will make it back in by the slightest of margins also.

We started with a toast tribute to Tom Haberichter as follows:

Gone now but not forgotten
Forever in our thoughts
Every day the Sun shines for you
Every day the roads are dry
The straights go on forever
The bends are as you dream
There are no more pains
There are no more worries
You will be there at every party
You will take part in every ride
You will race with the stars
You will ride upon God's pillion
And if Angels ride on Harleys
You will surely travel far
On earth you were our friend
And now you are a star
So glide on heaven's highway
And lead the ride up front
One day you will be waiting
And together we will ride
Once more again as friends
The white line side by side

We then proceeded to view and listen to some quotes that were heard this past year.  Here's a couple examples.

"I didn't realize that a half a quart of Harley oil was that heavy."

"What do they grow in a beer garden?"

"Why won't this damn pump take my damn credit card?"

"How come the zipper on these rain pants is on the back?"

"Anybody else got their satellite dish up in a damn tree?"

Here's some shots from the night.
