LOIS LEADS & PHOTOS FROM GUYS' TRIP

Here's the report from Lois from last Wednesday night.

In the absence of our fearsome-foursome leader, we gathered at Casey's on a beautiful, but rather breezy Wednesday evening.  After we gave our helmet straps an extra pull, Lois, Wayne & Sandy, Dayton & Joan, Meryle & Mary, Earl, our guest Darrel S from Decorah, Dale & Mike in the convertible, & newbies John E, on the Triumph & Dave A from Lansing/Harpers way headed out on Forest Mills Road, through Luana, Monona, Farmersburg, and to Elkader where Jim & Cathy joined us.  From there we took Grandview drive through Elkport & Garber to Guttenberg where we feasted on hand-dipped cones at Greaser's and soft serve from Casey's.  We departed, taking the Great River Road to McGregor, Marquette, and the curvy road up the hill that comes in the East side of Monona and Volney Road back to Gus & Tony's for our sandwich feast.  Missed you, Bob, but wanted to let you know we kept the tradition afloat for another week!  Sorry, there's no pictures to share, but Chuck had our camera on the trip and I have only a low-tech phone.  Lois said the venture was 118 miles long.

Since Lois didn't have a camera Wednesday night, I thought you might enjoy a few photos of the guys (Bob Z, David, Chuckles, and Bob R) on their "UP NORTH ATTRACTIONS TOUR" last week.
