JUST THREE

On a beautiful Wednesday night, it was surprising that we had only three riders.  David, Gary, and Bob R left Casey's at 5:30 heading south under sunny skies and a temperature reading of 65.  We passed through Fishville, where we could see field work being done, and on through Postville, Gunder, Elgin, and Wadena.  Outside of Wadena we passed by the fire departments doing a controlled burn on an old house.  It was quite a blaze and Gary was upset that we didn't stop and do smores!

We continued on to Volga City where we stopped at the convenience store for ice cream, chocolate milk, and pop.  "Life is short.  Eat desert first."

From there we continued on through Elkader, Farmersburg, Monona, Luana, and back to Waukon at Gus & Tony's.  There we were joined by Bugsy and Bob Z, and we topped the night off with prime rib sandwiches.  It doesn't get any better than that!

Memorial Day is getting closer.  Don't forget about the ride and cookout after.
